hks gd twin plate clutch

does anybody have any tricks to seperating the release bearing from the pressure plate with the clutch still in place? Unfortunately its not as straight forward as a standard one

You need to remove the HKS rod that is running down through the inspection hole on top of the tranny. Good luck.

hks rod? is this just used to remove the release bearing or is it in situ all of the time?
