With your mods you really could stick with something like the Exedy stage 1 if you don't drive too aggressive but i'd be worried about longevity. I'd probably suggest you run the ACT HD Or Fidanza 3.1 kit. Either one will hold up to what you're doing and drive well on the streets.

Thats the worst advice I've heard all day. Why would he spend $1300+ on a clutch setup when his car isn't even close to requiring it?

Depending on how you drive check out either the Competition Stage 2 or Stage 4. Those are going to be your cheapest options and both are very good clutches. I personally have the Stage 3 but its a bit more money since its Kevlar. The Stage 2 will be good for aggressive street driving and autocross, but if you drag race/launch the car the Stage 4 would probably be your better bet.

to the Op... Do a little research and you will find that ACT locks out of in my case breaks apart.. I would stay away from them.. I can send you some pictures if you like... it lasted 3000 miles. Go with Exedy stage 1 or 2.. you can go with a twin... but you dont really need it unless your going to upgrade (bigger turbo or meth). Im in the process of installing a Spec twin.. but thats because Im going to be arming the meth for the 1st time.

Are you serious? Terrible advice...? How is his car not even close to requiring it... Many people run Twin disks for Full Bolt on Set ups.... He has a TBE.... IC PIPES... Intercooler... CAMS... Evo 9 Turbo... Probably has a Manual boost controller aswell just didnt post in his Sign... Can easily make 400 hp right there with a proper tune. Hmm you dont need a fp red/35R to run a twin if thats what your thinking ?? You pay only once for a twin disk after that the rebuilds are about 500-550$

$500 for a rebuild is still more than my entire clutch costs. Single disc clutches are the way to go for the majority of cars IMO, especially when on a budget.

I still agree that a twin disk is not right for him or needed. Regardless, when he's looking for something cost effective, as he mentioned, there is no point in trying to force the issue.

Fidanza, or Competition would be good. The Competition 6 puck is a nice kit that I have used quite a bit, too.
