What goes here?!?

So, i've been having problems with the car going lean. I had it de/retuned and it seems fine now. Lately i've been crazy bad gas mileage so I decided to look under the hood again and see if anythings obviously wrong.

I might be going crazy, but I don't think these used to be open before. If someone has a picture or can just tell me what goes in these 2 spots it would be greatly appreciated.

The two empty places are circled in red

That's your fuel pressure regulator...you need to connect a line going to those 2 nipples.
I will see if I can find a picture of the lines on the serv. man.

that's correct. you need a vac line of some sort to get those connected. Should help your issue. Get some zip ties on it to hold it together, well.

Possibly your FPR solenoid is just bypassed. Does the vacuum hose coming from the FPR connect directly to the intake manifold?

So I guess it probably is bypassed. I think the people that were trying to diagnose the going lean issue might have bypassed to see if that was the problem.

Does it matter if it's bypassed? Should I still connect the two nipples?

You're fine bypassing the solenoid. Make sure the lines are good and don't have any leaks (check that boost gauge hose too). All the solenoid does is add fuel pressure for cold starts but if you have an aftermarket fuel pump there is no point. I have mine (along with most other emissions systems) removed and never had an issue even during the cold Minnesota winter last year.

That would mean you're running on the rich side. Have you installed an aftermarket fuel pump w/o getting a retune or tested for boost leaks?
