those plugs dont come pre gapped so if you bought new plugs and put them in you need to take them back out and gap them to .022-.024

had this exact same problem with mine and this was the fix

Well i think i found what was wrong . Illmatic165 told me i should check the MAF because he had the same problem. So i take off my intake and i look at the maf screen and its completly off.. and there are little parts from the edge of the screen gone. it didn't get sucked in but was lose in there and i know its suppose to be attached to the sides and it wasn't.

Now i think i know what happend. Soon as it got colder out "the night it happend was the first cold night here in nj" the boost must of spiked and messed up the maf. Even though its a hta86 on low boost thats still alot of air .

i was wondering if there was a way to test and make sure 100% its the maf without buying a new one? Because i plan on getting a AEM stand alone this spring and going all out.

So i took the honey comb out and the car runs fine. So i guess it wasn't a bad maf just the the honey comb being bent messed with the air. I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem?

Its probably your Coils.
Even Mitsu admits that they go quick due to the heat from the engine.
I had the same issues and changed over to COP setup from Sparktech.
Little pricey, but well worth it.

Interesting...I was having some similar problems on the dyno the other week.

Car had a minor break up issue at higher rpms..Regapped plugs and thought It was the coil packs going bad. Could still be the coils but Im going to check the maf.
