So i just put a hks ssqv on and all im gettig is compressor surge. I already checked all the vac lines and everything is good. I put my type rs back on to be sure ad it works fine usig the same vac line. Idk any suggestions? I have the v2 black limited.

Thats because I thought the hks was only meant to open at peak boost not inbetween. why do you think that is why there is so much flutter when the supra guys run them on big turbos. from what i understood the HKS is either closed or open. there is no inbetween like some other BOVs. This is just what i have heard, I dont own one so people with the HKS on their car should chime in

 

its not opening no matter wat psi im at. can i take it apart and adjust it?

 

u have the vacuum line to the IM hooked right?

 

the vacuum is from the fpr-manifold, the it goes to the bov and wastegate actuator. i have the vac filter thing in the line after it splits between the wastegate and bov
