Car Breaks up doing 3rd Gear Pulls Only? Help

Hey guys, recently my car was tuned and we came to a issue where my car will break up extremely bad when i do a 3rd gear pull..The boost spikes to about 34psi.

But if i do a full run 1-4th, the car runs like a champ (No break up)

My current setup

Evo 9 turbo (Ported)
Stock Exhaust Manifold (Ported)
Stock Intake manifold (ported by buschur)
boomba 65mm tb
Br Uicp
tial bov
Ams Intake pipe
perrin filter
Strictly Modified Fuel rail
1050cc fic Injectors
Ams knockoff Fmic
Ams licp
megan o2 housing
Invidia 3" exhaust (no cats/no res)
fp4r cams
arp headstuds
NGK bpr7es .022 gap

e70 (winter blend) tune holding 28 psi

current best time 11.30 on first pass at the track

Can anyone help us out??

First thing I would think would be surge, but shouldn't be a problem on stock turbo... So not to sure. Have you logged the car in a 3rd gear pull?

Yes the car was logged of course, but from what i understood.. The car would not knock consistantly.. If he tuned a certain area of knock , after correction another area would appear knock.

Ill have Kunal Pitch in this thread to give it more detail

My car did the same thing when I blew my turbo. The exact same thing. I would check your shaft play. I cracked my divider and splintered my shaft pretty bad... 1st-4th no problem but if I loaded up in 3rd or 4th it would knock throughout the powerband in odd places and couldn't fix it. That's how we realized the turbo was shot, bad!

If it is blown then just get a Red. But Robert won't be able to do it as an upgrade though, he would just have to look at it first and see... Sorry for your bad luck if that's what it is but it happens to the best of us.

edit* have you had a blown turbo before.

ya I put down 430 on pump+meth before mine took a ****. Just upgrade to a red. It is an awesome turbo and easy 500hp and fairly safe!

Black = you still wont be happy... However I think with some of your "magic" it might be shocking what that turbo will do

Then next you will be blowing your motor On stock motor you would be limited to pump/30psi. I think pushing the black much further would send your rod through the block bud.
