Problems on mivec camshaft

Hi guys,
i send this post in order to find out if any of "us" have faced up with problems in mivec cam.Unfortunately here in Greece many engines failed due to broken mivec cam. This has only happened on big turbo setups for over 550 WHP.Has anyone of you seen sth similar?
Thank you in advance,
Vaggelis

There is a whole thread on this. We have had the same problem over here with many brands of cams that came from the same core manufacturer.

I recently broke a Cosworth M2 "Mivec" Cam, but cosworth replaced it for free, and even next dayed it. They assured me the problem has been resolved.

GSC, Kelford, and Cosworth MIVEC intake camshafts have been snapping.

Glad I bought the FP4R's.
