ARP headstud questions....

Is there ever a need to replace ARP headstuds? Can you torque them down as many times as you'd like w/out worrying about stretching or ruining them?

Is there a need to upgrade to the H11/L19 headstuds if running around 600whp and 35+psi of boost?

I would upgrade to the racing studs if your running that amount of boost, just to be safe, but its probably not necessary.

As long as the head bolts are not Torque to Yeild (Torque the bolt down then tighten them another 25 degrees or whatever) you should be able to reuse them. I would also recommend race studs with that much boost.

According to Marco at Magnus Motorsports - Regular ARP head studs are good for 700 HP.

Anything past that he recommended the L19's.

I have a set that has been torqued down twice now and the AMS race head is about to go on....for a few extra bucks and for piece of mind i'm going to replace them. I don't know whether or not to get the "RACE" studs or regular ARP studs?

I'd do the L-19's at your level for sure

The L19 sounds like the safer idea to me. Good luck finding them.

What are they rated at? U can just do it all at one time(Rods and studs) so you dont throw a rod and have to rebuild it all.

if your boost is over 30psi its probobly a good idea to get ARP, just so it doesnt blow when your having a good time driving around
