clutch pedal dropping to the floor after EVO sits overnight???

I've noticed recently that after I leave my evo to sit for a long period of time...i.e. overnight that the next morning the clutch pedal drops almost to the floor and sometime it won't let me engage any gear until I manually pull the pedal up/to the top....then it works fine the whole day!!

I called up Quartermaster clutch to see what they thought as that is the clutch i'm running now...they seem to think it might be my clutch master cylinder, but I'm posting up to see if anyone else has had or has this problem as well?? Thanks!!

check your fluid level, check your slave cylinder for leaks. those may be some cheaper things that could be the problem too.

+1 bleed your slave cylinder, You might have obtained some air in the system or your low of brake fluid in the master cylinder.

Your clutch is fine.

I have a hydraulic TOB and no longer have a slave cylinder. This clutch is only 2 or 3 weeks old so I know it's not the clutch itself as it has to do with the hydraulics. I will try and bleed it again but we did do a thorough initial bleed after install

Mine is stuck to the ground, wont even let me go in gear. I have heard of TOB popping out on the QM. Did you get this problem fixed yet?

I haven't investigated further into this as the clutch works fine after I pull the pedal upwith my foot. I haven't heard anything about the tob popping out with the QM hydraulic tob

The two components that would cause this would either be your Slave Cylinder or you Master Cylinder. Bleed the system first. If you get air out of the system note that. If the clutch does it again after you bleed the system try bleeding again. If air comes out again you have a leak in either the Master Cylinder of Slave Cylinder. Slave Cylinder would be the likely cause but Master Cylinder could do the same thing. Good luck.

Thx for the help! I will bleed the system again and see what happens next week. If the problem gets worse then I will be replacing the master cylinder.
