Exclamation clutch help

i need to replace my clutch and i would like to get some recommendations from the veterans in here.
i would also like to know if someone knows a place where i can get a good deal on a clutch kit or a clutch/flywheel combo around the socal area.
oem or aftermarket, doesn't really matter as long as its in my budget range... yeah money is a bit tight nowadays...

all the help will be greatly appreciated...
thanks!

oh... a bit of info about my car... its a 05 evo VIII. don't really know what type, but its a 5-speed.

thanks again!

u nead a lil more info other then a 5 spd 8 to make a proper decision on what clutch. how much power are u making? what is ur main purpose for the evo meaning is it a dd/street car or something u take to the track alot? do u care about drivability? unfortunately having a butdget with an evo sucks... i got my exedy hd from import dps but any vendor on here is good. just pm different venders and look in the for sale ads for specials.. just do ur homework if u know what i mean... oh and search search search. theres tons of threads on here with all the info u could possibly need to make ur decision

people are probably going to ask what are you goals too (power goals). If thats all u really plan for the car...an oem exedy replacement will suffice, or a step up would be the exedy stage 1 (full faced) or the stage 1 HD (402wtq).

I have these and they work nicely. You MUST break them in first before you get on it or else, you will suffer a high catch. I'm running pretty much stock too and if you don't have plans to get more power in the future, this clutch is great. Just get your stock flywheel resurfaced and you should be set. Of course, if you're planning on making more power soon, this clutch kit can only go so far before you should grab a better clutch.
