crankshaft

need a new crankshaft and want your opinion about stay with a genuine one or a eagle 88mm.dont want a stroker cause i have brand new MAP ultimate billet rods.i can get the genuine in $825 with tax, eagle is cheaper than this.

Go with OEM. The OEM crank can take whatever you can throw at it. Only other thing I would suggest if you really don't want to go OEM would be a K1 crank. That will run you about $1600 though

find a good used crank. There is one right now in the for sale "engine drivetrain and power" for 380ish shipped I believe.......WAMMY

Go with a stock crank.. if Eagle balances the crank anything like their rods its garbage..

Are the Evo cranks nitrated like the 1g 6 bolt cranks? If so, how deep does the nitrating go?

EVO cranks are induction hardened, not nitrided.

stroker or 2.0 your still using the same piston and rods. All thing that is needed is to notch the block where the crank hits it.

As a sidenote I have a used oem crank for sale if interested.

Go a 100mm 4G64 crank and grab yourself some 2.3L stroker pistons. You will love the torque!
