Another problem I ran into is that my friend has an OBD II scanner, and we tried to use it to maybe see if it was throwing any codes, but it wouldnt communicate. Could this be bcos I have AEM EMS ? If so, how do you check for codes, or diagnose a problem like this thru the ECU ?
AEM EMS does not support OBD II which is why it is not emissions legal. I don't know how to check codes honestly...

that sucks. I have no idea where to go from here. I know its something interrupting the signal to the coil(s), i just cant seem to trace it.

Built motor, GT35R turbo with .70 hotside, fullrace mainfold, odyssey mini battery, AEM EMS with wideband and 3.5 bar map sensor, Walbro pump with 1000cc RC injectors, HKS DLI, stock coils and NGKBPR8ES plugs (gapped at 0.26, the way they come out of the box).

Depending on how you have the HKS DLI wired, I would try to pull that out, and isolate the unit in order to troubleshoot the spark issue. Make sure you have the following parameters for coil dwell in the AEM advanced ignition setup (35/4/0).

I cannot isolate the DLI, at least I dont know how to, because i dont have the factory harnesses that connect both coils together and so on. If I remove the DLI and harness that came with it, I wont have a harness to plug into the coils.
Can you send the pic of the coil dwell settings to my email rq3k@mail.com
Having trouble viewing it....
Thanks
