Starting trouble !!! Pls. help

Alright,

So i gone thru everything I can possibly think of to diagnose this problem.
The car was starting fine, I took it for a drive one night, seemed like one of my coils fouled...again, so I limped it back to the garage. I replaced the coil, but then the car wont start at all, it turns over, just doesnt fire up.
I have new plugs, new coils, and now a newer HKS DLI with a new harness, and still won't start. I pulled the plugs and smelt fuel, so i'm guessing that the motor is getting fuel and its not the fuel pump. What else could it be ? a sensor ? a setting somewhere ?
I've checked every harness to make sure everything is connected, the coils are in the right spot, the plug wires are correct..............I just dont know.

Just go through all of them, there is one that will make your car not run. I don't remember which one specifically.

checked all the fuses and they are all fine.
This may help, but when I pulled the car in the garage, I noticed that the car cranked slowly, so before starting it up the next time, I used a jumpbox when I tried. Could the jumbox have caused something to make the car not start now?

Did you scan the car for codes?

I've got AEM EMS and don't even know where to start with that system as far as diagnosing for codes.
The car was starting fine, I just dont understand how all of a sudden its not starting, the only thing I did different was use a jumpbox.

Somehow your not getting spark. I'm not familiar with AEM EMS. You would have to try to pull codes or monitor the ignition system to see where the fault lies. Recheck all connects and make sure they are all good.

what would cause the settings in the EMS to change ? its been fine with the exception of whats happening now ? Should I regap my plugs ? I'm using NGKBPR8ES plugs gapped at 0.26 (straight of the box), should I try going narrower to like 0.22 or so ? Will taht have any negative impact on the car by trying ?

Have you checked it for spark? Pull a plug out and hold it against the head or intake mani sumwhere to ground it and have sumone crank it...you should be able to see the arc jump. I would look into the cam position sensor if its not sparing. if its not that my next guess would be the crank position sensor.

ok, so it ended up being one of the fuses to the coil that is located under the dash. The car starts fine now, but i'm back to problem 1 that I was having.
The coil on #4 cyl intermittently fails. My car will run fine, then at some point it will shut down to two cyl (coil for cyl #1 and #4). After a while, the coil will come back and the car will run fine. I have new plugs, new coils (i've swapped the good coil (cyl #2 in place of the bad coil #4 and it still does the same thing), new HKS DLI, checked all the wiring from the AEM EMS to the coils, checked fuses again, everything good. What could it be now, a sensor ?

I searched a little on this issue, and it think it may come down to two things:
The injector intermittently not supplying fuel to cyl #4 causing no spark, or the coil dwell settings in the AEM EMS. What do u think ?

man oh man, this is becoming frustrating ! I was trying to figure out the coil issue with my car tonite, and after starting the car a few times running tests, the car won't start again. It cranks and turns over, but it doesn't start. Its not the fuse again, I checked all that......What in the world could it be now ?
Another problem I ran into is that my friend has an OBD II scanner, and we tried to use it to maybe see if it was throwing any codes, but it wouldnt communicate. Could this be bcos I have AEM EMS ? If so, how do you check for codes, or diagnose a problem like this thru the ECU ?

Well you know you have timing so its either fuel or spark.... you can easily test for both.

Could be a nearly dead FP.
