fp black on pump vs fp red on pump
^ A black will make over 500hp on pump. It will on my car and my friend and I will be testing a few things over the next month. It may be the first of the year because I'm leaving the country soon...

We'll have a Red back to back on our dyno right after T-day. It will baseline monday night, get swapped tues morning and be back on the dyno by mid afternoon if things follow the plan.

My sponser is trying to convince me to swap out my Red for a Black but he told me with my setup it will make about 500-520 easy and that's on stock block and head
^ Well I agree, but I think the Black will stand for itself here shortly. The Black is/will be a sick *** turbo on the right setups. Having a larger compressor wheel will def help out. Most of us are able to push the Red to the limits of the compressor wheel. The Black is designed to flow at a higher rate and operate more efficient. Robert did a great job at that!
Bottom line for Black on pump...
MAKE EVERYTHING FLOW BETTER AND IT WILL OUT PERFORM THE RED! Certain modifications will make the compressor wheel come to life

I don't quite understand how a turbo can have so much said about it. Especially without things like compressor maps, a/r, trim, turbine and compressor sizes, flow numbers, etc...
The Black vs Red is pretty simple stuff... the Black is bigger, therefore it can run higher boost levels more efficiently. Boost for boost the Black will not make much more than a Red. If you won't exceed the boost level a Red is efficient at, than a Black is probably a bad choice. End of story.
Sorry for the rant but for christ sake, it's a turbo a bit bigger than the Red. WTF do we need a thousand threads about it for?
I'm sorry but I have to ask... it seems you are kind of new to this board I think... and it also seems from my limited perspective that you have made about 10 million posts about the FP Black. Can you just sum up for me the essence of what it is you like to say about the black in a sentence or two? Sort of the cliff notes?
