Have the owner take a picture of the back of the radiator. If the radiator looks like new... and it should.... then odds are the work was done by someone that cares. Now if the back side of the radiator has a bunch of bent fins.... then it was modded recklessly. If it were me I would walk a way simply because of that. I'm **** about torque specs and detail.

My IX also came with a VIII spark plug cover since the IX covers seem more prone to cracking. I switched back to a IX cover though (only around ~$30 from the dealership).
Lol, My VIII came with a IX cover (and a 9 turbo, DV & interior).

No mostly not. But varies from dealer to dealer.
