i was sussing my timing the other day and lined up the crank pulley and the degree markings were pointing to 3 oclock?????? is this right? i thought about it and they are the same part for evo1-3 and eclipse also.....it has 2 location dowls and it is located in the dowl that says evo next to it, so yeh , that makes sense but how u supposed to dial them in from tdc? or even know where tdc is? i have 64bottom and 63 head

Let me search for a quick picture. I do know that Fidanza CG do have a special marking for that says EVO on them. Indicating where the Evo marking is.

See how at 9o'clock it has a marking. That should be the marking for reference for the Evos.

 

anyone?? even a nice pic of the gears at tdc would help me out....tdc on a 64/63 combo would be a bonus!....i know i cant just put it where someone else has cos it wont work but hey, its a start to understanding it
