recirculated valve=crazy buckle+leak?
recirculated valve=crazy buckle+leak?
I have to greddy type s valve on my car (recirculated) it's normal at full wot and letting off, but when I'm in 6th gear hitting boost and I let off the gas the car buckles like crazy...I'm pretty sure it has to do with hard and soft setting...I just hand tightened it towards hard, should I loosen it?
I'm pretty sure the valve is leaking too, anybody know how I can fix this. I've been told to change the gasket...any other ideas just in case it's more serious?

what psi are you running? check to make sure all clamps are working properly (especially if using worm clamps). also, to check if spring rate is the best with what you have once you tested for leaks is to loosen all the way out and drive it.. make adjustments a 1/4 to 1/2 turn at a time once you get to where you are holding said boost.
And seriously, depending on your boost level, you are better off using a stock metal DV. There are plenty of other BOV on the market better than GReddy. IMHO.

With the oem MR dv it's holding 1.2-1.3 bar depending what gear I'm in and with the greddy it's holding 1.1.-1.0 bar depending what gear I'm in.
I'm still a bit lost on how to check if the valve is leaking.
