Will a 35R bolt to the stock manifold??

Well ive searhed around and cant get a clear answer.
I want to go bigger so im thinking i want to Gt35r ball bearing turbo.
I also want to keep the stock manifold/sleeper look and also retain the stock manifold heatshield...

So can i bolt a 35r to my stock manifold?
I will be getting a brand new ported and coated manifold to accompany this.

I am also aware that a FP red will bolt to it but if i were to get a red i would want the 80mm and its hard to find a used one.

Any suggestions? I am thinking i want a 35r. Reasons are. I want a good secure 450hp stock looking setup.. But i also want to have the available power on hand when i get around to building the block...

And i swear if i see another "My name is RAM and my tank is full commerical i will blow up my tv!!!"

Thanks!

No you can not bolt it right up. Also there are a TON of 80 mm reds for sale right now. I know you didnt look because there are a couple that just came for sale in the last week.

Here is an awesome set-up although it does come with the 64 mm but it will spool faster

here is another this one with 80mm housing. I know you didnt do research because it took me all of 1 min to find 2.

Nothing "stock" looking about my GT35r setup on my car or any other T3 or T4 GT35r setups for that matter! Red is your closest option for a sorta stock looking setup similar to a GT35r

Yeah, I would recommend the FP Black at that point.... more power than a red when you want to up the boost and will still bolt up to the stock manifold....

just remember that stock doesn't get you very far anymore....

do you do a lot of street racing? if not, why do you need it stock? it won't sound stock so whats the diff?

well thanks for the links. However im guessing i did do SOME research because i did post in both of those threads. I am looking for JUST the Turbo and not an entire kit. Also I couldnt see myself paying $1700 for a USED turbo when they are like $1749 new from FP or something like that.

OK so a 35r will not bolt to a stock manifold. ok well that solved that. Seems like a black would be my best bet... an 80mm fp red or black will def get me to 500hp so i guess those are my choices. Dont really need an 35r i guess..

I want to retan the stock look for just a sleeper preference, I know that may sound crazy...

I dont do any racing at all, street, strip, autocross. Its just a daily driver. Infact i hardly ever drive the car. I dont really see the need tothrow $$$$$ into a car i never really drive.

I was just thinking a new stock manifold with a turbo good for 500hp

buschur cast manifold kit is the closest to stock appearing.

well if your gonna spend the money to mod it, might as well do it right?!

I would suggest the FP BLACK, a buschur racing ported intake manifold and a ported manifold from buschur as well, increase the flow while gaining some nice whp with a stock apearance...

when you consider the cost of a "kit" compared to what the black will give you on pump / race gas its pretty much a no brainer....

Yea I was wondering the same thing. The Downpipe was my only concern. It's looks alittle twisty/bendy

I'd sooner do this:

http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...gory_Code=VEVO

With either a 35r in a twin scroll T3 housing, or better yet a Borg Warner S259 or S362 in their divided T3 housing.

Simple.

Twin scroll. Stock exhaust manifold or ported stock manifold from PPI or similar.

FP Black. Almost identical size compressor wheel as a 35R, but HTA billet technology. Spools quicker, and gives almost identical HP in most applications with stock frame looks.
