^^ awesome injectors, going to be using these in our shop car. Have had nothing but good experience with Bluemax's since we used our first set of 1650's on one of our e85 cars and she idles completely like a stock injector.

can you run these at lower pressures than 3 bar? So to act as a smaller injector and be able get leaner idle afr even at gas.

thanks

They idle just fine at 3 bar as is. They start to get a little wonky approaching 5 bar if you want to use the O2 feedback, but they will still idle and cruise just fine on gasoline.

Looking at these injectors size, i'm starting to have a doubt, i'm planning of using 4 fic 1150 cc as primaries and 4 fic 1600 cc (the old bosch ones) as secondaries, on e100 on my 2.2 engine with a gtx4294r turbo, will they be enough, or i have to swap to something bigger for staying on the safe side?

it seems that the new bosch style injectors have better internals, they can withstand high pressure 100+psi and act like bigger injectors. Lighter internals means faster reaction times ect.

All these claims about how ID injectors are magical seems a bit hyped up, its just a new generation of injector that BOSCH designed that seems to outperform the older type injector designs its just pure physics.
Matching flow is important or the injector coil reaction time but its not what makes this injector stand out from the rest I think.

The id 2200cc or fic 2150cc are the same type injector, they are not modified internally like the other 1000cc bosch saturated injectors which start as a stock 550cc injector.

at 5 bar these flow like 2800cc each, how much power do you make dude?

Can you still get 14s on gas with these on a high lift cam evo? Mine idles at 1000rpm so it should help.

I didnt have any problems making them idle as long as I did it in open loop at high pressure. I changed my fuel system so I could get the base pressure back down to 43psi for usage on gasoline. As it is I am still at 54% IDC right now...course the scale goes to 105 or so on the stock computer.

My cams are 278/274 GSC S2s and they idle fine with the cams at 1000r.

I have these in my car and we are about to start tuning in the next couple days. They definitely look really fancy. Cant wait to see how they run.

I wonder how's the mpg on dd with this injectors?... My bud has PT1600cc and he gets ~16mpg(I was just thinking about getting FIC 1650 myself cuz Im using Q16)

1600s are totally different. I still manage 25-26mpg, since its the tune (specfically timing and AFR at cruise) that determine the mileage not the injector themselves. On injectors like the 1600s where its not possible to have good control over them at all points mileage can suffer as a result. Adding the EZtune from FIC can make them better though.

Aaron is still on gas, a bigger turbo helps as does the displacement and compression for off boost cruise power.
