Possible clutch issues

Past info
-Ok, my evo ix has 31k on it, and i was told that it does have a stock clutch when i bought it.
-I've always found the tranny kinda of clanky, especially coming from a getrag
transmission.
-mods include uicp/licp, intake, tbe
Current info
-While trying to brake boost on the high way, the clutch slipped !
-i've noticed that the clutch depresses with out as much effort, and getting into 2nd is hard from first, that is the only problem shifting.
-While on the highway if i accelerate the clutch holds and the car drives normally.
MY QUESTION: IS MY CLUTCH ABOUT THE FAIL?

if you want to test if the clutch is slipping, put the car in 5th and from 2000 rpm go WOT and see if it slips. if it does, well time to replace it.

if not adjust the clutch pedal/bleed the slave cylinder

The reason it is slipping when you brake boost is because it makes more torque earlier. ITs time for a new clutch. ITs just gonna get worse fast.
