Engine light on then off

I have an 05 evo, mods are in sig. I had a new clutch installed and told the shop I had an engine light on(02 sensor issue from tbe) and they took care of it also. So after a few hundred miles after my new cutch was installed the SES light came back on, and was on for about 1000 miles or so. I should have checked the code out, but I have been busy and just assumed it was probably similar 02 issues. Anyway, I was driving home the other day and the light went off all by itself! Anyone seen similar issues? Is there anyway to tell what code was thrown before when the light was on?

When I was pulling an o2 sensor code, my light went on and off too. It will mostly likely come back again.

You can still scan your car and the code will be there as long as you did not disconnect battery terminals it will be stored as a "history" code. Don't wait too long to scan for the code because after so many drive cycles that complete and failure does not reoccur it will disappear from history.
