as long as the block is machined for the oversized bearings, and you check and double check the tolerance, it will work. definately don't just drop oversized bearings in there without machining. most likely the motor wont even turn over if you do.

You cannot just put in 10/10 bearings, buddy. What's going on with the motor? Why are you thinking that this is a solution? Let's see if we can't help diagnose your issue and come to a resolution.

does your crank need to be cut or something why you need oversized bearings?trust me you are better off buying a new crank/or a good used one than going that route, you will pay the price later....

Definitely don't just throw them in there and think you are good to go. If you spun a bearing or something it is best to take the engine apart and do it the right way. Good luck.

Are you so ignorant that you think .010 bearings are some sort of upgrade over standard bearings? The only reason you should need oversised bearings is because you damaged your crankshaft and it needed to be cut. The oversized bearings compensate for the metal that was removed from the crankshaft.

I'm still laughing as to whether this thread is serious or not.

Wow... I can't believe that the question post by the OP elicited a response like this.

The reason is that he probably spun a bearing, ruined his rods ( and or crank), wants to try and reuse them by machining them and putting in larger rod bearings to take up the space of the material removed.

As long as you can trust the machine shop, go for it.

ok. What you want to do is have it checked and measured at a machine shop. If it can be turned and refinished properly, you can prep it for 10/10 bearings. You can sometimes get it polished and be just fine. If not, you'll need a new crank shaft.

How bad is the journal? Any pics? How long did it run with the spun bearing?
