I personally would say go with a diff injector than the FIC 1050s. It seems they are very hit or miss. I have a couple of little issues with mine - cold/warm start issues. Not to say that FIC doesn't make good injectors, I would go with their BlueMax series if you can afford them.

My stock injectors see 100% IDC at 24psi on the stock turbo and would be lucky to make 330whp. I would recommend at least 1200cc or larger to give you room to grow. Personally I like to buy injectors once and size them for future upgrades. Large injectors are very tunable on the stock ecu.

RC engineering has a great calculator on it for injector sizing. There are more then a few variables in calculating injector sizes--its not a guessing game. My point was I have yet to see a simple 2x calculation for injector sizing without knowing more then what was provided. There is a lot of difference between 500hp-700hp and the fuel required to drive it--and then again, going bigger in injector to compensate for not doing the math--gets you something you can work with. If it was one size fits all we would all run 1200cc injectors and we could tune them to work with anything--any turbo from blk to green.. But really is that the best solution--it certainly is a solution. Sounds like you have someone that will do you rt. Case closed.

Yes, on race fuel you can, but not e85. The question is why go small unless you are getting a really good deal on them. There is no gain to be had in driveability anymore with the bluemax series.
The problem is a lot of people, including myself think oh I only need 660s, then 880s... and then you decide to upgrade your turbo or run e85 and then you have to buy another set. I am not saying go straight to 2200s or 2150s, because they cost almost twice what the 1850s cost (almost $1000 with plug n play adapters), but make sure you have enough wiggle room for future plans.

We are currently testing the FIC Blue Max 2150's on a car in house. I am still in testing stages, but for the most part the Idle is like stock with Kelford 272's. The car made 641 at 30 psi on E-70. Overall I am really happy with them, I am real interested to see how good fuel mileage is with them.
