might have loosened up some dirt in the master cylinder and now a small hole is partially clogged.

theres really not enough information for anyone to really give any sort of definate answer or idea to any issue you have. Everything thrown out will be a guess. Just saying to not expect any miracles.

If the tranny is shifting without issues, and the clutch disc is engaging fine and not dragging or anything i wouldnt worry too much. I mean how hard is it?? Maybe have someone else who has an evo give ur clutch a try and see what they say.

Whats the clutch pill? And i dont know. But heres the story. One day i took my car out and i floored it. Something went boom while i pushed the clutch down to shift into gear. ( i was doing fast shifting). When i notice, my clutch was half way almost down to the floor. I went out to go look if i blew a hose or something. Seems like i didnt. Came back into the car. Try driving it and i could barely go fast. While stepping on the pedal trying to go into the next gear. My rpm will jump up in every gear im in. Maybe cause my clutch was alittle more than half way down to the floor. Woke up the next day to go see it. I pushed the clutch up and it went up. BUT, it started to seem like it was slipping. Clutch was up but while i try flooring it to the 4000rpm range, my rpm would jump up like the clutch was slipping. Till then i thought my clutch was slipping until one day my slave cylinder gave out on me and found out my rod in the slave cylinder was broken and then i changed it,bleed it and boom my clutch was hard. Ha! Thats my story.

Mines the exact same except I have a 6 puck. The pedal isn't hard to push in or release but the clutch itself grabs hard. Sounds to me like you have an aftermarket clutch and don't know it... Maybe get underneath take out the rubber plug get a flashlight and look in there

....maybe its the simple fact that youve had and been driving on a faulty slave cylinder....got used to the way it felt right before it broke. Now that you have a new one with a properly bled system, its back to the way it should be and thats why it feels so diff.

if everything is functioning and nothing ABNORMAL about the clutch, i wouldnt worry too much. You keep asking for help but ur gonna continue to get people just throwing out ideas no matter how far fetched they are. i mean what else are you expecting....there isnt anything really wrong here in this thread besides "my clutch feels really hard".

keep driving, and try to keep an eye on things....
