ok, so i would like to let you guys know that i found the4 problem with your help. i ran out and check the fuel pressure and found it at 45psi ish at idle. so i figured that was good pressure. so i went and test drove the car quick with the hks unit unplugged and found i still have a slight mis. so i check for any leaks and found some major ones. the two lines off the trottle body had disconnected themselfs down in the backside of the manifold where i couldnt see them. after the drive the mis was gone.

so id like to thank everyone with their help, but i do have one more question. what do you guys req to help these lines stay on? i was thinking just a small bit of super glue and a zip tie.

i've had these lines come off many times, but that never lead to my plugs losing the tip....hopefully that is your problem, but i would still be careful

Thats exactly what I did. The FP regulator line and EGR always popped off on me so I smeared some super glue on the connections and it worked great. I didn't even need zip ties but it wouldn't hurt.

did you ever do a compression test? i would be really surprised if it that damage was from the those lines coming off.

im pretty sure it was the lines. ill still be doing a compression test tomorrow when i take the car to work to be sure i dont have any other damage, but like i said the vac gauge is very steady. no jumping or anything like that. stays right at 13 to 14. the wideband did read alittle richer at idle as well after i put the lines back on.

I had my reference line to my FPR solenoid blow off @ 30+psi when I got my red. I did the same as someone above said... E120HP (Epoxied) the vacuum line on and zip tied it.

Hope the tips of the plugs didn't do any damage to the turbine wheel.

nope, checked everything out and all is good. i dont really beat the car much at all and i think that is why the plugs got so bad before i noticed.

Take a picture of the piston heads and such when you take head off to do your work. It would be very interesting to see the amount of wear on those forged pistons under that type of ignition conditions.

Glad to hear you figured everything out.
