I found that the APS valve likes a single larger hose that goes directly to the intake manifold. No Ts anywhere.
Also, the stock APS grease is very sticky and does not let the valve move very fast. Changing to synthetic grease makes it move much better. +1 on the teflon tape.
Mine is set to about 1/2 way in. It reacts quickly and hold boost like a champ. (27psi).
This BOV, like many other parts of the car, is a maintenance item. It has to regularly serviced for optimal performance.
