Sup,
I just bought an EVO 8 5days ago,
and learned to drive stick which is crazy.
But it has given me some kind od anxiety.
I think I might crack the gears or something,
because I can hear some metal dangling sound when I change gear 1st to 2nd "only".
Do you guys hear that kind of sound too?
or Did I already *UCK up with transmission?
I also think may be muffler pipe is dangling because I changed gear sorta grindly, I would say too toughly then car's shaking.

Hint: try the Evo board.
In any case, I've never heard a grinding noise on my Lancer, so I'd say take it in to the dealership. If you just got it, I'm going to assume you have the warranty. I doubt you destroyed it within 5 days, so just take it in and tell them to check it out.

I hear this too, sounds like a few rocks bouncing around in a tin can or something.. hard to describe
im pretty sure this is the "decel noise" that has been talked to death..
the car doesnt have much insulation so a lot more noises come through.. just do what i do, turn your music up to 45 and it wont bother you
