Some time ago I installed an evo 7 downpipe and a test pipe to decat my evo 9 cause I was fed up with fu***** every new cat I installed. It was always covered by the warranty but, anyways, it was a pain in the *** to take the car to the shop

Now I´m having boost spikes constantly up to 1,4-1,5 BAR, plus the boost goes up and down and doesn´t remain constant. I know that this can be fixed with a boost controller but for the moment I don´t want to spend too much because I´ll be buying a 355 gts in a short time and I want to leave the evo pretty much as it is.

I`ve seen the new hks evc-s which I think will suit my needs, but on the otherhand i`ve searched and read very good opinions from the hallman pro x mbc.
So, will the hallman mbc do? or should I buy the hks? I guess the hks will be more accurate than the mbc and more reliable, right?
