Exedy twin owners only please!!!!

Did your clutch pedal vibrate at all, after you installed this clutch.

When I depress the clutch pedal I feel an rpm connected vibration until fully released.

Do any of you have the same issue? If it isn't normal whats causing it?

Your thoughts please Gentlemen....

I have the Exedy HD and I don't feel any vibrations in the clutch pedal.

How does the clutch perform, minus the vibrations?

it performs perfectly just a little more vibe than normal, but only when I am pushing in the pedal before it is fully disengaged.

I don't remember mine ever vibrating either. you didn't accidently put the clutch disc in the wrong order did you? The only thing I can complain about for the exedy twin is it makes some wierd *** noises sometimes. it howl's and does all kinds of **** when downshifting very nice clutch though for a daily driver with mid/high hp.

you should put car on jackstands and follow TRE's clutch adjustment procedure. http://www.teamrip.com/clutch_pedal_...ment_info.html

You could try bleeding the clutch.

I'd start by checking the pedal adjustment. Then I'd inspect slave cylinder and clutch lines for anything out of the norm. Sorta sounds like a mechanical malfunction of some sort. On second though, maybe the release bearing?

Who did the install?

No vibrations in mine either. +1 to bleeding the clutch. Sure you aligned it right?

Other than the vibrations, how does it feel?

Good luck

Warning: This post may be completely useless.

I have the exedy twin and do not have the problem you are experiencing. Although I am having a brain fart and can't come up with what I think I have to say, I recall someone having a big problem with their clutch which was forewarned by the same symptom you have. Because I can't figure out exactly what it was that I read, you should probably take this with a grain of salt and ignore me, but I would spend a good amount of time searching on here and see what you come up with....

Hey, I warned you! Hah. GOOD LUCK!

On another note, I would say that this has to do with a mechanical alignment, orientation or balance issue. I would put zero marbles in the fact that it could be cured with a bleeding or a pedal adjustment, although when tracking down a problem, you always do the easy stuff first.

I never broke open any clutch lines during the install so its not a bleed issue.

It went away so IDK what it was oh well its gone I'm happy now LOL

Thanks for posting all.

Was this new or rebuilt? Wondering if there may have been machining or something causing a clearance issue and slight drag?
