After 5 hours of pulls and trouble shooting trying to get boost curve where it should be it was concluded the dynomight dyno was not loading the car correctly. car left the dyno with boost hitting 41psi and falling to 34psi. but the manual controller was turned down before test spins in fear that it would boost higher one the street. The interesting left details are during tuning the boost control we accidentally saw some amazing fast torque curves.
I saw 585tq at 4100rpm on one aborted pull, and 575tq at 4000rpm on another. this dyno reads 5-10% lower than dynojets so this represents the fastest spolling torque monster I have seen to date. on stock 2.0 this is nothing short of stellar.
As we feared the boost went higher on the street so the gears did see some gear eating torque.
Pfffft.... 585ft/tq @ 4100? Weaksauce! Haha.

Those 2 pulls were intense. This thing was trying to jump off the dyno. The spool was incredible. The stock block is taking a beating and it just keeps asking for more. The tranny on the other hand stuck both middle fingers high. She should be fixed next week.

Those aborted pulls were between 45-46psi peak.

All that and you couldn't get a shot of the power output?

You fail.

land & sea dyno is SKETCH.

a buddy dyno'd on a L&S dyno @ 600hp, and trapped 123.

another instance, in the srt scene, a basic bolt on stock turbo srt dyno'd 340hp...not happening w/ a setup made to make roughly 260.

be weary of the L&S results. not discrediting your car, because i think anyone can agree its a beast...just dont hold those results to heart. dynos are just a number anyways.

just wondering why are they using the tie down point under the bumper to secure the car? wouldnt that preload the suspension a tad and offset a true load bearing dynos ability

I haven't read through this thread in months, but as I was catching up I noticed this quote and was thinking how running a 9 just isn't that easy and then noticed immediately following all of this sudden bad luck with the car.

Hopefully you will get it all sorted, should be a screamer.
