New intake for Evo! Little confused though?
That is also a very good point. I doubt anyone needs it that bad if that were the case. One more thing to add to my list of calls tomorrow.
"Hi is this Titan? What is up with that manifold on EvoM?"
"Yeah the one that wilson made that its in the thread...whats it fit? REALLY?...ahh thanks"
or something like that.

Based on results from other intake manifolds, I'm going to say this manifold has been designed for the high horsepower, high RPM drag racing Evo's.
The large plenum and fat runners are going to shift the power band to the right. the fact that the runners are short is going to shift it back to the left a little, but not much.
It will be interesting to see what happens, but my guess is it's not going to make any crazy power over any of the other intake manifolds on the market.

I know FRH made an Evo head with a 1g intake port. It was going on an Evo 8 drag car. Devo tuning had him make it. It was epoxied and welded up very interesting idea maybe this is the intake for that car/cylinder head or just an error?

Plenum shape is important also...
Why do you call them "fat runners"? Obviously a machined runner is going to appear larger than a sheetmetal or tube runners. The wall thickness is much greater. If the taper is right the larger runner wont' effect much down low. As for runner length in the pictures i've seen they appear just as long, if not longer than most of the other intakes out there. They dont' end at the base of the plenum
Just got off the phone with the boys at Wilson and that is for an Eclipse project. That was about as far as i got other than its a custom piece and they had noticed it on Titan's website as well. It looks like a 6 bolt head with some serious mods, I think this is a PR car? You have to be crazy about cars to wanna spend money like that (however well deserved) for a one off piece.
