ETS 3" IC ok for a 400 whp set up?

I'm in the market for an IC (I think). Currently my plans are a 400 whp pump gas car. Main uses is auto x and road racing. Good friend of mine is selling a mint ETS 3 " IC. Would this be enough IC for my needs? How good is it compared to the stock IC?

I tried to search but did not find the info I was looking for.

They are some of the best intercoolers on the market, and you will not have a problem at 400whp with a 3" ETS

For 400whp, a 3" inter cooler is all you need.

Buddy of mine was telling me the 3" ETS will heat soak with my uses of tracking the car (road racing/auto x) I will be around 400 whp with either a BBK full or Map SST set up.

I'd step up to the 3.5" personally.

I already pulled the trigger on the 3" thinking it would be good enough.

3inch is more then enough....besides even if you're dyno/street tuned for 400whp, common practice is to slightly drop boost on roadraces...

Yes 3.5 will give you more room to grow if that's your plan but you do sacrifice slightly on throttle response and weight
