Back from the dead.
Did you ever find out what the issue was?
I'm having this same exact issue, surging/bucking, afr droppping and load jumping up like crazy.

Anyone have/had this issue? any answers?

Thanks

Switched to a synapse bov and Perrin intake pipe, fixed everything. I think a retune smoothed things out as well.

Cool, thanks man. I just switched to a synapse dv also, but that did nothing for me. I'm trying to narrow it down to either an clogged injector or my WG is craping out. I know it sounds unlikely that it's the WG but it seems that right after I adjusted the preload the surging started. coincidence? maybe. I'll just have to keep searching.

Thanks

Go back to stock intake and see what happens. That may narrow it down, also check for any and all boost leaks.

Ha ha, it was the synapse dv. I put the stock lX dv in and the surge went away. But let me say this, its no fault to the synapse dv though. Its because my intake doesn't really fit since I got the fp blk, and if it's not lined up perfectly the filter element rubs against the hood. I'm guessing the extra vibration was causing the synapse dv to slightly open and close at random, due to being more sensitive. Time for a new intake.

Thanks guys
