hallman MBC

Just received my MBC and am going to install it before i take it to CAM tuning in 2 days. The deal is i am going to install it and drive it to get tuned. So my issue is that do you know what the stock settting of this MBC is? I do not have a boost gauge yet and dont plan on messing with the boost level unless the tuner does it.

Should i just decrease it totally just to drive it to the shop to be safe?

Yes, once you disable the WGA the boost shouldn't reach more than ~12 psi

Should def buy a boost gauge. As for the MBC Have the shop install it before the tune or drive the car there out of boost. Or as he said crank it too its lowest

you can jus turn it all the way down BUT tunning and turning up the boost with no boost gauge is a no no. Boost gauge should be your very first mod on a turbo car.

just take it to the shop with you, and install it there. the tuner can help you get it the boost lever sorted out.

I have a spare cockpit cable if you are intersted (evo specific), so you don't have to leave your seat to adjust boost.

Another question is will the tuner beable to adjust the boost through his programming of the tune? Or will he be depending on my boost gauge?

If your going with a MBC the ECU will no longer be controlling boost. So boost will need to be set buy a gauge which they will temp install. Likely

yeah just keep it at the lowest setting till you get to the tuner. he will be able to set your boost for you. definitely get yourself a boost gauge asap.
