BC 2.6 Stroker Engine

Hey Guys,

Trying to search for more information on this setup, however finding it difficult to find many guys who have it done.

Is it worth going to a 2.6 over a forged 4G64?

And has anyone had any difficulties with the BC 2.6 Stroker setups at all?....

I believe Paul Nelson had issue after issue with that engine set up in his race car.
Search BC 2.6 and you should find the info.

I believe there is a older Evo overseas running the kit without issues though

The idea sounds cool, how well it would really work out though is another. Thatd be sick as hell though if it worked out just as well as a 2.3 or a 2.4 does haha.

Wasn't GSC making a 2.6 stroker kit because BC sucks?

150mm rod 108mm stroke?? 1.415 rod ratio? or are they using a longer rod with a moved up wrist pin? I think that would be impossible. Piston speeds would be incredibly high. I would think you would have to keep this thing around 7500 rpm max. The 100mm stroke and 150mm rod (4g64,4g63 2.3) already has enough RPM issues. I personally have an aluminum rod 4g63 with a 100mm crank that is knife edged and i get worried past 8000rpm.

Wow... Interesting... According to his dyno charts it looks like Mr. Alex doesn't run past 6500 RPM's... But then again... Does he need to... hahaha...

The 2.5s and 2.6s have kicked rods out only running to 6500. Again I will say pass.
