Locking up the ACD clutch with a switch?

Is there anyway you could lock up the ACD tcase with a separate toggle switch? Basically flip it on and it would lock the ACD clutches. Straight line only which would be nice for the strip and act like a welded center. Turn it off before you make your turn.

Has anyone tried to do something like this? I'm wondering with some separate relays, you could disconnect the computers pump wire and have another relay drive the pump.

There is a program you can get/tune into a good aftermarket ECU, ie: autronic etc that allows you to lock up all four for 30 secs, it was designed for rallying for the moments you get stuck in a muddy bog off the road.

I think Motec has the option and the GEMS eCU as well.

Any longer than 30 secs and continued abuse will damage the clutches.

I was looking for a cheaper DIY way to do it but the Motec looks pretty sweet.

Yes, you can wire the pump.

Sweet! Have you guys tried this? I would assume then its just a 12v input to the pump. Would there be any risk to over run the pump or does it shut off when it senses full pressure? If it doesn't shut off then I'd have to add a hydraulic pressure switch into the mix similar to an air compressor switch.
