I'm hoping I'll be able to test this as well as a shearer exhaust manifold on my built 2.3l and a black..

I will say that it will make more power... I have a Vband set up on mine, just not dumped thanks to R/TErnie, he fabbed the 1st one over a year ago on my car, but I couldn't stand the noise, so we recirc'd it. Looks good Mike... looking forward to the results.

Looking at the pics some more looks like the dump may hit the J-pipe... hope not!

Shearer makes excellent products. I run their current dump on my FP Red and I love it. As someone else stated, not sure I agree 100% with the way the dump tube crosses over the downpipe.

Not sure why people wouldn't like the sound of a dump, I guess isn't personal preference.

I prefer it over a cup of coffee in the morning.

Why?? because why would you use a good motor to show off parts when it could be in a car running.. Hes not showing off a set of pistons and rods.. Its called a Mock up Motor..

I saw a test on one of these a year ago. The car was able to maintain boost a lot better in the higher rpms with the stock 9 turbo. Same setup, 3" vband, external dump. Turblown.net made it.

Hey Mike and Mr. Shearer,
Glad you guys made one. It looks great! You guys have the best flange design hands down... I'll be building another recirc'd o2 housing for my car with your flange here shortly. We should get together and quantify what the differences are between the dumped vs. recirc. lmk

Also, I have a way that you can make the bend tighter than normal... hit me up on PM and I'll explain it.
