I dont think they make them and the $1200-1500 price tag wouldnt justify the 20-25hp gains anyways, you might as well get a full turbo kit for that price.

I've made a few for people...

You will see some gains at the track over other manifold due to the placement of the turbo. I guess for guys looking to get the most out of the stock appearing turbos they work.

Also im pretty sure SD conversion is a must in this case so thats another $650-700 onto the cost. Where is that info danny?

Reese Tuning made a thread on my local forums showing their new FF manifold for stock turbos but im not sure if its availible yet. They also offer a SD conversion kit that cost $700-800 and includes installation and a dyno tune.

I dont think there are enough gains over just doing a side saddle ram air like on our Dragcar and we did on Lukes stock turbo back in the day. Ultimately you are limited by inlet diameter and you can make the ram pipe big enough to overcome that.

What? The speed density kit is $150 bucks. And then you get a tune...where in the world did you get 700 from?

Exactly, unless you tune your own car and own your own dyno then its around $700. Besides you've got to have read a lot of info on SD to even attempt to do it by yourself.

Shearer is working on it. Their stock tubular made 20 more then a ported stocker. If the forward facing setup is good for another 20 then I'd say its work it. I thought about it.....I'll see what my setup does with a forward facing. If I want the extra then I know someone's working on something that will work. I've contemplated going with SD anyways so the need to go that route is negligible to me.

I dont really see the point to this. All the new developments in stock framed turbos over the past couple of years has been great. But part of this greatness is due to the fact that they bolt right up to the factory manifold with simplicity and cost in mind. As people mentioned before the MAF will need to be ditched in favor of speed density. Not to mention the oil and coolant lines will also need to be replaced or modified. 1/2 size radiator will also most likely be needed. At this point why limit yourself to stock like turbos when you can go T3 for example and have an endless choice of turbos?

I suppose forward facing turbos is just the newest "fad" and that is all...Someone please tell me otherwise.
