@JDMevoBOOST at ur power level why not switch to speed density and ditch a recirc setup? When I first installed the Synapse it fluttered too until I played with the settings. I still prefer it over my Tial with any spring combination.

I was just making an observation that the GM 3 ports pulse boost and the synapse is so fast acting that it resonds on the negative side of a boost pulse. I'm not putting down the product, actually the oppostite. This thing is so good at what it does. I want to buy synapse a beer cheers you all.
So do you think it would be better performing with a mbc?

hmm good question... of the users of this DV/BOV how many of us are using GM 3(or ebc)? My Tuner recommends that I go back to the mbc, but not for this reason (partial valve flutter) but for the pulse boost issues.

Synchronic held like a champ on Friday for a dyno queen 33 psi pull

I wouldn't tee into anything when connecting the Synapse. Vacuum line straight to intake manifold and thats it. If it has a Port C I would tap into the upper intercooler pipe for boost pressure or just send it to Synapse to remove Port C.

holding at full throttle has never been an issue for the synapse. In that regard it's great. It's the daily putting around town and building medium level boost on the freeway that becomes a bit annoying.

^^^Couldn't be explained an better. For dyno/ drag runs I would recommend A + B and a stiff preload setting. To tool around town I believe port A with a loose preload will give you the best livability.

So anyone know what is entailed to convert to a port "C" less style BOV? If it is simple I would like DIY instructions as opposed to shipping it back to Sychronic.

Me too. I dont think they are willing to post it though since its been asked many times already. If you send it to them I guess they will do it for free.

You should sell your synchronics and buy a tial. I have no issues using the 9psi spring it idles accelerates doesn't leak and no fluttering. All I had to do was pick the right spring and I'm good.

Hey thread jack about the tial. I'm sure its a great product, but as the title states this is about synchronic. This doesn't need to turn into a battle about which is better.

Back on topic. e 85 and this thing love each other. 33lbs of boost. Too many pounds if you ask me. No leaks

Lightbulb BOV E-control

Well, chaps I've been following this thread awhile and I have chatted with Synapse, they're great guys, very knowledgeable. But they are pushing the limits of what a mechanical valve can do. Their valve is quite sensitive, and the variety of ways it can function kinda makes it tough to really calibrate it for your unique app.

I'm quite sure that IF they could install the valve for each application it would be fine, but they can't, its up to the buyer mostly.

Hey Synapse/Devin - can I send my Synchronic in and have you guys update it with all the new features? I already have the model with port C removed obviously but it looks like you guys are using bigger hardware for the ports on top, etc - thanks.
