rebild help

I just got around to installing the block I received from being machined, and just started to install the stroker kit 2.3 on the Evo 8 block, with 100 mm billet crank with Manley high rods and JE pistons. After I installed the crank, torqued the APR bolts, then I begun installing the piston rods in the crank...as I finished doing the the very first one,I tried spinning the crank a bit,and...turns out the rods touch the block!Anyone knows why this happens, or/and has had this happening to them? Any input would be apprecciated...

Really? that sounds odd.....did you purchase a kit? or did you piece this "kit" together?

Yea I hear/see that you have to remove some material from the block on some stroker kits.

That is normal for some rods. Some rods require some block modification and some don't.
