ARP headstud question

Which ARP headstuds do most people go with? I came across two different ones on one vendors website. There is the ones called "professional series" with part number 207-4702 that are around $12 more expensive than the ones I see most sites carrying.

http://importdpsonline.com/arp/arp_h...2/i-61547.aspx

and then there are these ones that most sites carry. (High performance series)

http://importdpsonline.com/arp/arp_h...3/i-61544.aspx

My question is, is it worth it to buy the professional series? I can only seem to find them at the link provided. And I know I can find the ones most sites carry cheapest at map's website. Thanks.

If it were me, I would call ARP and discuss your specific build with them to find out what they recommend. They have an 800 number under the "contact us" page.

L19's are overkill for a lot of setups, buy what best fits your budget, build, and goals.

If it were my car I'd get these: http://www.maperformance.com/arp-cyl...studs-evo.html

If you want the "best" though and are willing to pay for it check these ones out: http://www.maperformance.com/map-ult...11mmhdstd.html

Right, I was thinking of just getting the high performance series from map that you linked. I don't think I will ever plan on pushing over 500 whp/tq. I read that the arp head studs are good up to around 700 whp. I'm just not sure if their talking about the high performance series or professional series now. Hmmm

The "professional series" is the undercut version that arp offers. I would have to refer to a recent email from A1 technologies to be able to explain the differences in any kind of detail, but for your goals the standard ARPs should be more than adequate. We rarely sell the undercut version which is why you didn't see it on our site...
