Transfer case??

i got a exedy twin HD put in and after i got the car back it was making this noises

(3 weeks)-been happening since the clutch got put in-
Around 3k there would be a small vibration noise didn't affect performance at all and i couldn't feel it only hear it

(2 days ago)- would go away after driving for a bit-
then a Squeaky belt noise i thought it was the timing belt but it was on the opposite side when i checked today

(2Day)-it would randomly come and go-
And then a crazy metal noise kind of sounded like the flywheel or something spinning but making a lot of noise when i would start to put it in gear it would stop right b4 it got completely into gear it would stop and then start agian when in gear but not as loud

(2Day)-happened a block away from were the car stoped-
and then a whine sounded how ppl describe the T-case

And BAM all of my wheels locked up

the cars sitting in front of a pepboys right now because i didn't know were to take it and they were across the street

Also the small under hood shifter cable was off its little stand thing pretty sure it blew the cotter pin right off

Don't touch anything and call the shop that did the clutch install and have them send out their tow truck. That way when more damage happens as they drag your car on the flat bed, the shop will incur the cost.

should have had someone else install your clutch it sounds like it. I mean maybe its a bad transfercase or what, but really someone is going to have to look into all of it. Anyone could make a guess here but with so many options as to what it could be its anyone's guess. Good luck. You really need to find a way to look into it and see if its the shops fault. If you can find it is then you have some options of getting them to pay for everything. But if they dig into it they might say its not their problem. If I was closer I would love to help and take a look at it.

i have heard of this issue, when timing belts are replaced, from what i was told they are not in time and will make a noise like you are describing, also have heard people stating similar symptoms, and it was a drive shaft, just my two cents

sounds like you were geting the death whine, and they forgot to fill the Tcase with fluid, or used the wrong fluid
