New Clutch time...
So after about 40k miles, the clutch is starting to slip on the evo. I guess all that auto-x is starting to take a toll. After doing some research I think I know what I want but I wanted to run it by you guys to see what you think.
Here's what I'm going with:
-Exedy Twin HD
-Throw-out Bearing
-SS Line
-Fork Stop (cheap insurance)
Anyone have any input? Also, anyone recommend a place to get these parts or what kind of fluid I should use? Thanks

Do you have your mind set on a twin disk? Do you plan to make more power in the future? If not then you could save some money and get away with a single plate. There are tons of options out there so I would do some research before you just buy the Exedy. Not saying its not a good clutch but twin disks arent the end all solution.

Yeah, I know what you are saying. I have done much research and have determined the Exedy Twin would be good for me. I plan on having ~375whp this summer and ~400-450 sometime after. Not that I have my mind set but I need something to handle the higher power I plan on having in the future.
Also, Tim, do you just read EVERY section on EvoM? Lol! Everytime I post something you reply, no matter what section it is...
if your only going to push 400-450whp or so why not just a 6 puck? Also clutches are based on tq not hp. As a 2.0 will make more hp than tq, that would put you under 400wtq. A 6 puck will do the job.
i have that exact combo. well except for the ss clutch line, it is still waiting to be installed cuz i heard it SUCKS so ill probably do it this summer.
one thing to know about the exedy twin, sometimes it makes like a seal bark noise when it engages from a stop. I called exedy and searched on here and comfirmed it is normal.
