Just for the 02 housing. I'm not interested in their TB seals.

Actually Mikey I had the first dump that Ernie made... for a day, and it was having boost creep issues as the wastegate piping was to small, and I couldn't stand the annoying *** noise at WOT, so we chopped it and recirced it the next day... He and I both learned a lot about fluid dynamic practical application the hard way that weekend

I will say MAP comes out with some pretty cool stuff, and IMO they would probably sell a ton more product if they had testing and results to back them up... not knocking, just saying...

Invidia 02 Housing

Check out this quote from the first post:

AWD Motorsports " Bastard " Evo 8.5 makes 552whp/552tq on BBK Full!!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today Diiirk & Anthony were at it again looking for some more power on the BBK Full.. This time with an Invidia 02 housing and some More Diiirk Tuning.. Still on stock Ecu and stock MAF.. This car is not speed density.. To our surprise the car picked up near +30whp.. Upping the final figures to 552whp/552Tq on a tiny little BBK turbo still.. We will be going to the track on the next dry day here to see what times we can turn with the Bastard Evo..

^ O ya I forgot about that fred. Thanks for pointing that out. I think the only recirc is the one eric and you have. Would you mind posting up pics of that for us? Thanks bud.

I agree with the MAP comment. They make some awesome things but need some testing to back it up so that people will buy their products. I'm not doubting it works, but most people won't buy things without seeing results first.

Mikey.

And if the "invidia 02 housing" was working so great for AWD then why did they get rid of it?

I had a megan racing O2 on my IX only making 380 whp, and we had absurd boost creep problems.

I replaced it with the Invidia O2 housing and all the problems went away.

It was a pain to install though... very tight on the inside bolts.

The OP of this thread does not want an open dump 02 solution. This is why I mentioned the Invidia 02 and AWD making 30+ hp adding it into the mix......More than likely, AWD replaced the Invidia 02 because they are trying to achieve the most power regardless of noise......Most people who own Evos floor it through the gears, WOT and the hp vs. noise on the street is not worth getting a ticket for a few extra hp

Does anyone have any dyno numbers on these?

Is there an o2 housing shootout thread somewhere?
