Finally figured out the noise!

Hey guys, I posted a few days ago about a clunking coming up front near the tranny mount. I finally pulled some stuff out to get a good look at it. Turns out it was missing a bolt! Anyways just thought ide let you guys know. Can I get a replacement bolt at a hardware/auto store or is it unique in some way? Thank..

Which bolt?

I would go to a dealership and order one from them, either that or MitsubishiParts.net. A mounting bolt is something you don't want breaking or stripping. How could it be missing? Had you taken the transmission out for a clutch job? Taken it to a shop to do it? That could have been a problem down the road...

Good luck

It just had a new clutch put in by the shop i bought it from so i suppose they could have forgotten, seems like something a little too important to forget though..

I would say so. Which bolt was it? I would go back and tell them that it wasn't there and either have them locate it or reimburse you for the replacement. That is shoddy workmanship, especially when it comes to transmission mount bolts...

Go talk to the shop who did it, for sure. Those bolts aren't exactly meant to be optional....
