Learn how to use it and do it smart. Monitor, failsafes etc.

O.P States: It spun and then hooked and shot to 30psi or so. He then later states his not so functional mbc would spike to 30/32psi sometimes and he would continue running it just because there was no knock. (super smart.)
Also there was mention that he had a faulty kit, band aid fixed it and went out to flogged on it some more. (awesome)

Failsafes: Properly setup car in a situation would have dumped boost to wastegate pressure instantly, and if available would have switched to a non meth map(Tephra).

Now if the motor blows because it's final had the last straw, then a failsafe is useless. I think the car failed because it was tired of the abuse lol

Summary: O.P wanted to blow his motor.

As great as Fail safes are, It has to FAIL first for it to work. It only takes one bad stroke to hurt a motor...

The car was down for 2 weeks. He ended up buying a evo 8 trans from a evom member. We dont know much about what the past owner had done. His the 3rd owner so we really dont know too much.
