Failsafes: Properly setup car in a situation would have dumped boost to wastegate pressure instantly, and if available would have switched to a non meth map(Tephra).

Now if the motor blows because it's final had the last straw, then a failsafe is useless. I think the car failed because it was tired of the abuse lol

Hmmm, sounds like it was run hard prior. How long was it down from the tranny? right now its looking like 4-5 months to failure at 445 ft lbs isnt all that hot. Then again maybe it was run at 500+ prior to the car getting picked up.
