Question exedy twin install

I have installed exedy twins on evos before but this weekend I did one on an STi. I would post up in the subaru camp but they dont seem to be as active over there...Anyway, Installed it and there is excessive chatter when you clutch in, even between shifts it is very apparent. Along with that there is a nasty jugger right before the car takes off. I dont remember my evo acting like this.

Again this is not the first time I have installed one of these but I am trying to figure out if anything could have gone wrong alone the way and still allow for operation of the car.

Clutch disc on backwards?
damage to throwout bearing?
discs not staggered correctly?

I dont think you can install a disc backward and still have it engage in gear...any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would pm dynoflash on this as he has more Subie experience than most on this board.

Yea I might try that also. The only reason I posted up here is because it's the exact same setup as the Evo. So the question is actually directed towards general assembly. Thanks again dude

I have seen some make more noise then others, The ring that the the TOB engages to on the pressure plate can very in tightness also and some of the noise can be coming from it jingling around. It is very possible to get the stack-up wrong, the discs are labeled tho and hopefully you have that correct. The chubaka-esk noise you hear right before engagement is pretty normal with a new clutch that has not bedded in yet.
