i have a couple maps for my car and each additional map was 100 dollars extra, not full price. Maybe that can be an option with ur tuner??

The issue is me getting e85 in about a month but we will still be on e70 here at that time. I'm gonna ask around and see if I can't get a few gallons sent to me somehow so I can get tuned to the fullest potential.

from what dave said there is a very noticable difference between e70 and e85. im trying to source a place or person to ship me a 5 gallon container or so of e85 up from the south so i can get tuned on the "good stuff" lol. otherwise i may just have to wait it out til the end of may. we will see what happens.

in terms of safety, which season is the best to get tuned for e85? (assuming you'll only have one tune)

No one is questioning whether we should use e85 here. I guess the new question is if your going to go with one tune. Would it be better to have it on e70 or e85? Not for powers sake but which will accomodate each type if fuel better when they change throughout the season.

Just get two tunes. I mean what are you going to do after an E85 tune and E70 is all that is available later in the year? You can't safely run a tune optimized for one blend of gas and run a different blend. Come on now...I know you are on a budget, but you know what ruins a budget? A blown motor.

I would get an E85 tune and simply turn the boost down a bit, if needed, when the E70 comes out.
