getting tuned on e85.

so i have everything i want parts wise before my tune for the season. but from what i have found out oio does not make the switch back to e85 from e70 until may and even june in some parts. i really dont wanna wait that long to get tuned. how much of an affect will being tunes on e70 be? will that be worse than a 93 tune? i 100% have my heart set on e85 but i really was looking to get tuned towards the end of march/beginnging of apirl. what do you guys think? and dave is handling my tune so if he could chime in with what he feels that would be good too.

it does suck when youre on a budget and trying to play... were lucky here in vegas to have e85 a plenty year round, well usually lol. let me ask you this how much of a difference in price for both tunes, maybe you outta save $$ that way you dont have to stress about having to wait for the season switch

i may but its not really the change over that bothers me. but more the initial tune. as ive talked to people being tune on 85 have no problems with 70 but i doubt the other way around. plus id rather be tuned to the highest potential possible.

good question. I ve been wondering this myself. Im going to keep a close eye on my wideband. I was just tuned recently(probably e70). I expect my tune to lean out alot when e85 is back in. My air to fuel was 11.7;1. So when I see it get lean, Ill have to add fuel to the map I guess. Ill probably be able to more boost also and make more power.

so from everything i have found the minimum octane rating of 105 posted on the pumps is pertaining to winter blend e70. which is still an arm and a leg over 93. so i guess my biggest question is will i see a huge difference when they switch it back to e85 for the summer? as in will my tune be screwed?
