Question Balance Shaft Removal / Replacement - Engine in Situ?

Has anybody ever managed to to remove the balance shaft and replace it with a balance shaft removal kit (long version) with the engine still in the car?

I am aware of somebody removing it while in the car but they never fitted another one.

Consensus is that, if we remove the front engine mount and lower the engine down we should get enough angle on it to get the eliminator kit in?

Any feedback welcome.

Cheers
